OZORA, 2012
Site specific permanent installation for Ozora Festival in Ozora Hungary. Acacia wood and rope. Each hand measures 140x50 cm.

The installation was created during a three week artist residency in June 2012. The residency was a runner up for the Ozora festival in August the same summer, and I was asked to create a permanent installation somewhere on the festival site by using materials from the surroundings. The hands (one left and one right) are carved from Acacia wood with flexible joints. They are both attached by rope to different branches in one Acacia three. My wish with these sculptures was for the festival visitors to interact with them, as they would function as a visible bridge between human and nature.
